  34. Redress : REDRESS is a London based, internationally focused, non-profit legal / human rights organisation. Founded on Human Rights Day 10th December 1992, REDRESS helps torture survivors use available legal remedies to obtain reparation and to campaign for effective remedies where they do not exist. Reparation (including compensation and rehabilitation) plays an important part in healing and restoring the lives of those who have been tortured. Seeking legal redress also helps to combat the practice of torture by exposing torturers and the regimes that support them and by ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice.
